Research, UX design and validations for a mobile app

Vaasan Sähkö wanted us to design a mobile app for their customers, that would improve the customer experience and increase both customer loyalty and self-service rate.

Process and outcome
We started off with conducting 28 consumer interviews at Finnish Housing Fair. This was followed by 4 separate group interviews for Vaasan Sähkö's internal stakeholders. Next, we defined key features, contents and visual guidelines, organized a co-creation workshop for internal stakeholders, and created a backlog for the MVP and a roadmap for further development.

In concept phase we created a wireframe prototype for all the main features of the MVP, and validated the prototype with end users. We also defined illustration style for visual identity and crafted detailed visuals for some of the key screens. Finally, we iterated user flows according to end user validations, and designed the details of the app such as illustrations and animations. The main deliverable was a prototype of 132 screens.
